Started Saving for College?  You'd better get started!

Did you know that the average cost at a Christian college is almost $42,000 per year?
A four-year degree can cost as much as $167,477!

You can transfer 15 credits* of your required Bible core classes to the college of your choice and save around $19,200 and 1/2 year!

Getting Started
How do I find out what online courses are available?
Download an application which has a list and detailed description for each course or check the list below.  We recommend Apologetics, Basic Bible Doctrines I & II, Life of Christ - Harmony of the Gospels, OT and NT Survey to start!  Many Christian colleges require these core classes for graduation.

How do I take AIU courses online?
Once you sign up, you will receive an invitation and passcode to join a Course Classroom.  From there, you will meet your instructor and obtain your Distance Learning course by downloading it.  Once downloaded, all course materials are available for offline study. Examinations are requested when your are ready.  They are completed on interactive PDF documents.  You can also take your courses online via E-Book format using the internet.

How long does each course take to complete?
Courses are completed at the students’ own pace and may be finished in as little as one month. AIU requires students to finish each course within a three month period. An additional three-month extension is available for an additional fee.

How much do online or Distance Learning courses cost?
The courses run $120 a credit unit.  Two credit courses cost $240 and three credit courses run $360.  There are no other fees!  (The average cost of online courses for Christian colleges is $450 per credit unit)

What if I need help?
Students are assigned a course professor to guide them through each course. Communication with course professors is via email or Zoom conferencing.

What does taking a course entail?

Your course will be downloaded in one file which contains all the instructions for completing the course plus a course textbook.  You will be watching several dozen short and interesting videos built into each course.  You will have three examinations and a 5-6 page paper to complete.  When you are ready for your exam, you request it from your instructor.  He will deliver it to you in your classroom.  You have three days to return it to him.  Your course grade will be visible at all times in your classroom grade book.

Click this button to see a sample of three courses using e-book format.
