Meet our Vice-Chancellor
Jim Gerhart serves at AIU with his wife, Christal. They have many years of experience serving the Lord in the pastorate in America and Togo, West Africa, as missionaries before arriving at AIU. God has blessed them with three children: James, Cassie, and Boaz. Cassie and Boaz currently serve with them in Zambia. Cassie was married in October 2021 to João Foriche (see below) and serves at AIU as an administrative assistant to the VC. João and Cassie plan to one day serve as missionaries to Mozambique.

Additionally, Jim is the Director for Theological Education in Africa with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism). He has earned two master's degrees, an M.Div. and a Th.M., and is currently working on his Ph.D.
​
Their ministry's focus is 2 Tim. 2:2 "and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."
Meet our Deputy Vice-Chancellor
Sandwell Zgambo graduated from the first class at International Bible College in 2012. After graduation, Sandwell continued his education at Moody Theological Seminary, Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his Master of Divinity (M. Div.) in December 2016. Upon completing his master’s degree, Sandwell returned to his alma mater to teach at Ambassador International University.

Sandwell teaches a variety of courses including Biblical Hebrew, Bible Geography, Bible Ethics, Christ and Culture, Cults and Marginal Groups, and Homiletics.
​
Sandwell is privileged to serve not only as a lecturer, but as the Deputy Vice Chancellor, the head of admissions, and serves as a community relations officer.
​
Sandwell married Abigail Tembo and God blessed them with two children their names are Jaynah Hope and Janice Joy.
​
Sandwell is passionate about God’s call in the areas of Biblical preaching (2 Timothy 4:2), Orphan care (James 1:27), and Discipleship (Matthews 28:19-20).
Sandwell’s favorite verse is Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” NKV
Meet our Dean of Theology
George Mukoboto is the Dean of Theology at Ambassador International University, where he oversees the academics of the Institution as well as teaches: Pastoral Ministries, the Importance of Prayer, Hermeneutics, and Bibliology. He is married to Namwemba and they have two children: Micaiah and Michelle

George earned his Bachelor of Theology degree at AIU. He also earned his Post Graduate diploma in teaching Methodology at Justo Mwale University. He has also completed his MA in Biblical Studies degree at AIU.
​
Before he was appointed Dean of Theology, he served as Campus Pastor for 7 years, Work scholarship Director for 3 years, Transport coordinator for 3 years, kitchen Manager for 3 years, and Outreach director for 3 years. George’s favorite Bible verse is 1 Timothy 6:12.
​
Apart from providing oversight for academics, He is also the chairman of The Investment Committee and The Board of Examiners.
Meet our Dean of Students
Godfrey Mwale serves as the Dean of Students at AIU. He is married to Precious and has three children: Uriah (4) and the twins Samartha and Seth (1). Precious loves teaching God’s Word to the children and young ladies.

He received a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from AIU in 2013. After graduating, He was hired to serve as Facilities Maintenance Manager. While serving in this position, He completed an intensive course in Teaching Methodology at a Technical and Vocational Teacher’s College in Luanshya. He has also earned a Certificate in Introduction to Computers and is an HIV/AIDS prevention expert. It has been his privilege to serve as a link between the Students and the administration.

He has completed his MA in Biblical Studies at AIU. He is thankful for the opportunity to serve also as a resident lecturer. He has also been serving as an assistant pastor for three years at Calvary Baptist. He was ordained in September 2023.
Meet our Registrar
Justin Siame serves as the registrar at AIU. He is married to Namakau and has a four-year-old daughter, Cheri Nayame.

Justin received a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from AIU in 2013 and was a member of the first graduating class. After graduating, He traveled to the United States and completed his Master's Degree in Biblical Exposition at Columbia International University. He returned to his alma mater to serve as a resident professor and registrar.
​
Justin has traveled to Israel to broaden his knowledge of the Scriptures. Not only does Justin manage the campus transcripts as a registrar, but he also is a resident professor, teaching Bible Study Methods, Pauline Epistles, World Religions, General Epistles, Bible Doctrines Survey II, and New Testament Greek. He has written several of the bachelor's courses at AIU.
